Some of the students of the Lycée Français de Kyoto joined by others from the Lycée français international de Tokyo, and two German schools the Deutsche Samstag Kyoto and the Deutsche Schule Tokyo Yokohama; went on a journey to Bando (Tokushima) commamorating the memory of the First World War.
Bando was a place where German soldiers caught by the Japanese in their possesions in China were imprisoned untill 1919.
They listen to a lecture from Mr. Michel Wasserman, the ancien director of the Institut Franco-japonais du Kansai and of the Villa Kujoyama; and a teacher of International relationships at the Ritsumeikan University.
